The true story of these three triplets who were separated at birth and given to Louise Wise adoption agency in NYC. The Agency placed them with three well chosen families. So what’s wrong? Well, they never told the boys that they had siblings. They were told that they would be studied as part of the adoption service. There was no other study provided for any other adopted child from Louise Wise.
Fast forward 19 years, and one of the boys goes to Sullivan County Community for his first day of college and everyone welcomes him back. He is told there was a boy from last year who is his double. He finds him and they look and think alike. Then the third twin sees the story in the media and finds his brothers. They then become famous and are on every magazine cover and tv show. They go on to own a hugely popular restaurant, Triplets in NYC. They all marry and are part of one another’s lives.
I won’t reveal what happened from here but you should see this movie. It raises all kinds of ethical issues. You will be shaking your head as to what they endured as they searched for the truth following a tragedy.
Powerful and well done.
