Interesting story of an eerie young man (Alan Jogia) who jumps into the Long Island Sound in front of a psychiatrist (Josh Charles) and his wife (Julia Stiles). Was it just coincidence that the psychiatrist who pulls him out was the same psychiatrist whose testimony years ago sent the young man away?
Through some loosely knitted plot ploys the young man just keeps showing up in their lives. He befriends the wife and threatens the Dr. At times the movie pulls you in and almost makes you take sides. But there are some head scratching flaws that really should have been cleaned up prior to release. And then there is that ending. This thing coulda been a contender, yknow what I’m sayin’?
