Its me. I have probably seen too many movies, especially French bourgeois ones. Even if they have a good director Oliver Assayas, and a good actress Juliette Binoche. This film is a discussion of the effect of digital on the publishing world, while the writer has an affair with his publishers wife. The meet very sociably and discuss intellectual topics, drinking their wine in the bistros. For me the films were much more edgy in the French New Wave of the 60’s. Now it’s old hat. It’s me. Rotten Tomatoes gave it 87%. For me the movie was all talk, no emotion, therefore a flat shrug at the end.
