We need to reshape our focus about Trump

No need any longer to point out how pathetic he is. He does that everyday with his meanness and inability to tell, or possibly even see, the truth. His fans are his fans, but they are only about 30% of the voting population. That leaves the rest of us to try to save the country before he destroys it. At least the first articles of impeachment have been introduced and Republicans are calling for other Republicans to no longer cow tow and remain aligned with him. The dossiers will become public soon and after he labels them  fake news, even his base will see that he is the fake news and the Russian collusion is real.

We have a long fight ahead of us, but a highly focused consensus coalition across the aisles of congress is the way to go. There is the majority. Let the Republicans drop him in 2020, if he makes it that far, and then he  can run the Trump Party, comprised of former Tea Paty members, Neo Nazis and white supremacists and any other unfocused unhinged non reader with a gripe. That’s who we elected. Shame on us. Now we have to fix it.

Another chance for a third party election. Just where support for the Trump Party will come from is obvious but the downside will be another President without 50% of the votes, a possible Electoral College stand off and a decision being made in the House Of Representatives. How important does this make the 2018 elections?
