Holocaust survivor Aida has kept some secrets since she was in the Bergen-Belson camp as a child in 1947. She had two sons, the oldest she sent to Israel after the war to receive an education. The youngest, a blind child, was given away. He was adopted by a warm caring family. He comes to find out that he has an older brother. The movie follows his search for his brother and once that is completed, they both search for their mother. They get lots of help from archival institutions and find that mama is still alive.
It is a very touching story but there are more secrets to unfold. Well done.
