2018 Best Films

I know, you have waited patiently for this yearly listing. Well I am in Mexico and things take time down here. In summary it was an excellent year for films. The explosion of smaller films with better distribution and the growing dominance of Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, with the and old standard Sundance, has made it possible for people with modest budgets to make good film. Thank you the digital camera. So here we go, remember if you are an action big time Hollywood movie fan, you won’t find your films here. There are some exceptions as I do see Hollywood films, just not those that have chase scenes,etc. So…here we go.
